TransCanada's Co-operative Education and Internship Program is available to post-secondary students enrolled in an academically accredited co-op or internship program. Positions are available year-round, with work terms ranging from four to 16 months.

Engineering is at the heart of what we do. For new engineers, our specialized Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Program offers a wide range of opportunities to get hands-on experience and build a rewarding career. Our EIT Program offers:

  • Mentorship
  • Networking opportunities
  • Technical and workplace skills training
  • Professional licensure support

As an EIT, you are considered a full-time TransCanada employee. This means you’re eligible to participate in our Total Rewards package.

EITs are typically hired each September, with additional opportunities available throughout the year.
